Description
Imagery, Imagination & Kids | A Workshop for Educators | 25 Mar 2023 | 10AM-2PM (EDT) 15:00-19:00h (CET)
This workshop is an invitation to restore creativity, imagination and play in children. In the increasingly digital world children inhabit, using imagery is an invaluable way for children to know themselves better, develop their inner resources more fully, and live in healthy and beneficial ways in their bodies.
After a brief exploration of how the digital world is stifling children’s innate creativity and disrupting their ability to focus, the workshop will introduce you to Saphire® Imagery, giving you experience with this approach. You also will gain additional experience by exploring imagery exercises adapted and designed for children. Drawing upon a few case studies from Sheona’s practice, you will also gain insight about the benefit of using imagery with children.
Sheona McEwan is a counselor and special needs educator based in Den Haag, Netherlands, with extensive international experience in working with children, their parents, and their teachers. In combination with her advanced training in Saphire® Imagery, she brings unique skills and empathy to the art of healing and inspiring children.
