Introduction to DreamKids®  | Special Free Session | Saturday, August 30, 2025 | 10:00AM – 11:00AM EDT / 4:00PM – 5:00PM CEST (Adjust for your local time zone)

Imagination, creativity, play. It’s what childhoods are made for. It’s how children grow and thrive. It’s what allows children to express who they truly are, and it grows confidence and resilience. But sometimes it just gets forgotten about. There is homework to do, tooth brushing to reinforce and screen time to fight about.

This introductory DreamKids® class is designed for anyone curious about how guided imagery techniques can support children — whether you are a parent, teacher, counselor, or simply interested in new ways to nurture emotional and social well-being. No prior experience with imagery is needed.

Are you curious about how you can develop your child’s imagination? Or perhaps you work with children, such as in education or counseling, and you’d like to explore how guided imagery techniques can be adapted to support children. This introductory workshop is for you!

DreamKids® uses Saphire® Imagery, a method developed by Catherine Shainberg and the School of Images®, to guide children through short, fun, and powerful inner exercises. These imagination games are quick, playful, and deeply engaging. They invite children to explore their inner world, discover their strengths, and develop tools they can use in daily life.

In this experiential session, you will:

  • Learn what Saphire® Imagery is and how it works with the natural language of the imagination.
  • Experience imagery exercises designed specifically for children.
  • Explore how imagery can help children with emotional regulation, resilience, problem-solving, and self-expression.
  • Discuss real-life applications for home, school, or therapeutic settings.

Children naturally think in images — they imagine, play, and create worlds in their minds. Guided imagery taps into this natural ability, helping them access inner resources, rehearse solutions to challenges, and gain confidence in their ability to act. It’s a gentle, creative way for children to process emotions and experiences, even when words are hard to find.
