Tarot is a book of images whose pages are reordered with every throw. Each image is a portal opening up a new way of seeing and knowing, where each throw gives us a fresh look at our present moment and the possibilities that our subconscious reveals. It is a powerful tool to help all of us dream in a different way, especially those whose ability to tap their own imagery is nascent. This 21-week course introduces youth  Tarot SOI’s way, focusing on an introduction and overview of the Tarot decks structure – Major Arcana, Royal Cards, and Minor Arcana  – and on a deeper exploration of the Major Arcana.

Participants are required to have access to two Tarot decks — the Rider-Waite deck and the Marseilles-Camoin deck.

This class will continue a multi-year cycle of Tarot classes, presented in the way SOI uses Tarot.

Beginning Tarot:  Major Arcana 

SOI certified practitioner and teacher, Shara Morales, will lead this course focusing on an introduction and overview of the Tarot decks structure – Major Arcana, Royal Cards, and Minor Arcana  – and on a deeper exploration of the Major Arcana. Catherine Shainberg, Founder of SOI, will make guest appearances during the semester.

Tarot SOI’s Way

At SOI, we do not view Tarot as a divination tool. Our “readings” have a different purpose and perspective. For us, Tarot is a book of images whose pages are reordered with every throw. Each image is a portal opening up a new way of seeing and understanding our own imagery and the revelations our images reveal to us.

With each throw, the configuration of images gives us a fresh look at our present moment and the possibilities that our subconscious reveals. It is a powerful tool to help all of us dream in a different way, especially those whose ability to tap their own imagery is nascent.

These throws do not come from a “reader” or any other external source — they come from the inside, from you, giving you a fresh look at your present moment and the possibilities that your subconscious reveals with each throw.

Tarot lets you see the truth of the matter as your true self sees it, as it resides in you and as it is always revealed through inner gazing. It is both a mirror and a magnifier, allowing you to see into ourselves by exploring the imagery in these Tarot decks.

Participants are required to have access to two Tarot decks — the Rider-Waite deck and the Marseilles-Camoin deck.

Fee: $1300  One-, two- and four-payment options are available upon registering.

No-Risk Bonus:  Participants can join the first session without obligation to complete the course. If after the first session, you believe this course is not for you, SOI will refund all of your payment except $75 for this first class costs and fees.
