Catherine Shainberg returns to Bainbridge Island for her only in-person workshop of 2026! You are invited to join Catherine on this peaceful island in the glorious Pacific Northwest of the US for a workshop on Tarot: The Royal Road to Enlightenment.
Over three transformative days, you will explore the Tarot as a tool for inner gazing and expansive change. Uncover the profound teachings and path to inner transformations that the cards illustrate!
Tarot’s teachings come in images instead of words. Like a dream, each image opens up many layers of interpretation. The pages are reordered with every throw.
These throws do not come from any outside source; they come from our inner questioning and guide the subconscious choice of cards we pick up. This is a form of inner gazing externalized with the use of the Tarot through which the truth of the matter that resides in each of us can always be revealed. We will be studying the structure of the Tarot, its 22 major Arcana that are the portals to enlightenment, its royal family (King, Queen, son, daughter) its court represented by organic and powerful numbers.
We will learn to open the throws as dreams and trust to their truth and relevance to our lives. This helps us access our subconscious and the truth and guidance that resides there. As each card offers a story, each throw is like a dream; a question is asked and a response is given that you can open up, each time. This is an especially valuable resource for those who may find accessing their inner world of images challenging.
Students who enroll in the course should have the these two tarot decks prior to the first day of the workshop:

Join Dr. Catherine Shainberg, Master of Saphire® Imagery and dive into the multi-dimensional meanings and hidden richness of Tarot imagery as a quick and accessible portal to your own images, dreams, and inner revelations. Workshop Fee – $450
Workshop Schedule –
The daily schedule is:
- OCTOBER 16 + 17 from 9 AM – 5 PM (PST)
- OCTOBER 18 from 9 AM – 1 PM (PST).
There will be four (4) 60-minute sessions on the first two days and two 60-minute sessions on Sunday with 20-minute breaks between each session and a 90-minute lunch break.
Private Sessions with Catherine Shainberg – On Thursday, October 15 Catherine Shainberg will make available a limited number of 30-minute private sessions on a first-come, first-served basis. Information to schedule a session will be found in the registration confirmation sent to all who register. Private session fee is $150, payable upon booking.
