Description
Chinese Supervision is offered in English and Mandarin starting Nov 1, 2022 – May 9, 2023 | Alternating Tuesdays | 8:30 PM – 10:15 PM GMT + 8 (CST) / 8:30 AM – 10:15 AM EDT (US)*
Supervision is an invitation-only class for trainees and practitioners to present your cases and ask your questions as you learn how to work with clients. Cases are written up to save time and to make matters clearer for the trainee as well as the listener. Think of it as writing up your dream. Trainees are encouraged to respond to the case presented and answer the questions. Catherine and/or Millicent then weigh in.
During this class you learn how to apply your knowledge of DreamOpening to the case in hand, using clarification and patterns to “open” the case. An approach to helping is then worked out and exercises are suggested. You will report back in the next session on what has been accomplished and on how the client responded.
The agreement of the client is required to present his/her case. The client will remain anonymous and referred to only by a first name and initial. If agreeable, the client will provide a series of photos for morphological evaluation. All discussions in the class remain confidential.
More general questions can also be asked, such as support on how to face a resistant client, how to use tikkun (correction), how to understand colors in the subconscious, how to write exercises, and more.
By invitation only, but please ask your supervising teacher if s/he thinks you’re ready. Beginner trainees need time to internalize the basic pillars of the work and may not have matured enough in the work to take on clients. The supervising teacher will evaluate your readiness.
Once you‘re in, this class will help you and the supervising teacher decide how ready you are for certification.
The class is also recommended for certified teachers who want to continue deepening their practice.
