Imagery & Children | SOI Community Class | Invitation Only

$35.00

We live in a world where so much of children’s lives is proscribed, directed and scheduled – in school, in the media, in playdates, even in computer games. For today’s children, life is far more digital than physical in comparison to previous generations. Yet  children today still have the need to be creative, to problem solve, to manage their emotions, and to be in their bodies, fully alive and well.

Imagery can help children to meet these very real needs and can be a great antidote in this digital world children now inhabit. Join SOI Practitioner Sheona McEwan for this brief exploration of the digital world’s impact on children’s creativity and focus and on how we can use imagery with children with great beneficial effect.

You know how powerful imagery can be in your own life.

Now, let’s ask ourselves: How can we use imagery with the children in our lives?

We live in a world where so much of children’s lives is proscribed, directed and scheduled – in school, in the media, in playdates, even in computer games. For today’s children, life is far more digital than physical in comparison to previous generations. Yet children today still have the need to be creative, to problem solve, to manage their emotions, and to be in their bodies, fully alive and well.

Imagery can help children to meet these very real needs. Using imagery, they can learn to know themselves, develop their inner resources, and express their true needs in physically sound and emotionally fulfilling ways. Imagery can be both an antidote  and ballast in navigating this digitally-driven world children now inhabit.

Please join SOI Practitioner Sheona McEwan for this brief exploration of the digital world’s impact on children’s creativity and focus and on how we can use imagery with children with great beneficial effect. We will do this through experiencing Saphire® Imagery exercises re-designed for children and by looking at a few case studies of children in Sheona’s practice.
