This is what Saphire® Imagery will show you. This foundational Imagery course is part of a six year series, open to all levels of students who wish to explore the subconscious and journey inwards through dream images. This school year, we will continue studying our theme of  The Right Use of Will. What is will; and how can we harness its power to move beyond the blocked emotions and pains of the past? Description

Beginning Imagery | The Right Use of Will will meet each Friday for 21 weeks from November 11, 2022 – May 26, 2023, 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM EST (US)* | 9:00 PM – 10:30 PM CST (GMT + 8)  In English + Mandarin

In this core, year-long class you will learn the fundamentals of Saphire® Imagery. Our aim in this 6-year series of classes, taught by SOI practitioner, Maria Bricel, is to explore the right use of will. What is will? Is it imposing one’s own will? Having power over others? Or is it instead a will that takes into account other people’s needs and desires? How can our will cohabit with other people’s wills to create a more harmonious balance of power?

In Kabbalah, the tree of life diagram shows us that will – often called Justice or Severity –must be tempered by loving compassion. This requires plunging into the heart where loving compassion resides.  In other words, plunging into the subconscious.

Through a series of short inductions called Saphire® Exercises, you will be taken through the four realms of existence –  mineral, plant, animal, human –  to explore what blocks your way and what can develop your path to the right use of will.

Using techniques from the Kabbalah of Dreaming – the art of dreaming of Jewish mystics – you will learn to balance left and right brains and experience how the will of severity and the will of the heart can dance together to create harmony and joy.

In this 6th and final year of Maria Bricel’s Beginning Imagery, we will continue to explore the realms of plant, animal and human. The work enables self-discovery while clearing any blocks and obstacles along the journey.  In this way,  we also build strength and trust in ourselves.

You will learn or further develop the fundamentals of Saphire®  Imagery. In each class, you will receive exercises written by Catherine Shainberg and your Teacher, Maria Bricel, who will guide you through them. You will be asked what you experienced, and you will be given individual guidance, depending on the “necessity of the dream” revealed in your Imagery. The exercises are powerful, quick, effective and easy to do. They can be beautiful, fun, surprising, amazing, astonishing, delightful—each student’s experience is unique. You will discover the Self you never knew you had with Saphire® Imagery.

Imagery Exercises are short inductions given by the imagery guide to the dreamer. These lead the dreamer into waking images that are often as intense and visually clear as the most powerful night dreams. As the waking images unfold, they are both diagnostic and transformational. They help you to delineate and construct your own inner landscape and access your own richness, power and beauty. They guide you to bring forth the lessons you have learned within and to manifest them in your everyday life.
